  1. I know I said this before, but this shot deserves more praise - you have a real talent for this! These photos are beautiful.

  2. Oz is right, you do have a talent for "seeing" the shot in what you are looking at. Plus, the captions are evocative as well, which only adds to the photo. I think all of us want to go to New Mexico now!

  3. Yes - NM looks so beautiful in the pictures by Nana. It's a pity it's too far from here...

  4. Must be looking out towards ABQ proper.

  5. I agree with Lenka and others - it's so nice and peaceful, but it's so far from here (it's about 15000km from Irkutsk where I live - I've calculated it on "google map" just now) :)

  6. You know, I posted a revision to my comment: apparently Google didnt like it.

What I think I was trying to say, and didn't communicate well, was instead of saying "talent for 'seeing' the shot" -I should have said the
"talent for "seeing" the beauty around". and communicating it through the image and captions.
    :-)
    There, I feel better.

  8. I just stumbled on this blog about a week ago and I've been utterly charmed. I loved the cooking video blogs so much and I hope we get another one soon.

Thank you for putting a little homey touch on my blog reader. :)

  9. Is this Corrales? I always imagined a really tiny village.

Anyway, the picture is beautiful! Reminds me a bit of Greece: Sitting in a tavern in some bay on some Greek island on a summer night and, as the sun has set, watching in the villages around the bay and on the far islands the lights go on one by one until the whole bay is illuminated... sigh!!
